Heikki didn’t become the experienced interior professional he is today within the snap of a finger. Quality takes time, dedication, perseverance… And when it comes to all that it’s safe to say that nothing beats forty-some years of experience – or someone who has gently worked his way up and seen it all from up-close.

It was the early seventies when Heikki first set foot in the world of interior and antique. His interior journey knows a humble yet meaningful start. As a loader-unloader at he learned the ins and outs of logistics and became a true expert in using the available cargo space as efficiently as humanly possible. A period where he gained plenty knowledge he still benefits from today.

From there on Heikki developed into restoring antique furniture. He loved being an artisan, getting his hands on a unique antique piece, restoring it with care and to the smallest detail. From patination on English antique to replacing leather on antique desks – and everything in between. He learned all about materials, about the art of restoration and the value of antique. His work has been displayed and sold at distinguished events such as The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF).

Going from restorer to salesman, Heikki discovers how much he likes to share his knowledge and passion. The storyteller, decorator and consultant in him awoke. He soon took on international interior projects both big and small, from consulting and decorating hotels and restaurants to exclusive stores and (private) properties.

Meanwhile and as a manager and business developer of the Czech branch of Gert Snel Heikki helped establish a showroom and working place where antique could be restored in the best possible way. He made sure that his Czech team was equipped with the right material, knowledge and mindset. To Heikki it was always very important that his team loved what they were doing and how they were doing it.

Now, forty plus years later, Heikki started his own company and is more than happy to help you with your interior and photography wishes.​
